Gingermegs Vintage grew from a genuine, lifetime passion for vintage clothing. I began shopping at Birmingham vintage stalls in the rag market when I was just 12 years old and wore a 40’s suit and fit and flare coat to school. The shop is named after me, Virginia as Gingermegs was the name my mother gave me when I was growing up, and the birmingham vintage shop and the business are a family affair. As well as running the shop, I hunt down vintage bargains across the lands to bring you the most exciting collection of vintage clothes available online and at our boutique. Whilst my mother is a dab hand at bringing tired vintage back to life; cleaning, repairing, even remodelling so that all our vintage clothes are as special as they were when they were first created.
As well as our love for all things vintage, we also adore a bargain! That’s why we never overprice our pieces; we aim to keep our prices very affordable. Whether in store or online, you would be hard pushed to find quality, specialist vintage clothing as affordable as at Gingermegs – FACT!
We specialise in 1920’s-
Based in the Custard Factory, Birmingham; an area well known for vintage and independent shopping our boutique is filled to the rafters with our beautiful finds. As collectors of art and antique glassware we felt it appropriate to bring this passion into the shop, alongside the rails of glorious vintage clothing you will see an interesting collection of art for sale and fabulous Bristol glass and other Victorian and Georgian china and glassware.
Here at Gingermegs we want to help you find your dream Vintage item so if you have any special requirements please do contact us or pop in as if we haven’t got what you are looking for in store, we will do our best to find it.
